Who we are
kerfaudio.com is run by Kerf Audio (“we”), Grain & Graft, Brook Mill, Parker Street, Macclesfield, SK11 7BQ. You can contact us at connect@kerfaudio.com.
Using the site
You may use the site to learn about, buy and download our products. Do not try to break its security, scrape it at volume or use it to break the law.
Buying
Our paid products are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), who acts as reseller and merchant of record. Paddle takes payment, charges any VAT or sales tax and issues your invoice, under Paddle’s own buyer terms, which you accept at checkout. We deliver the product, the licence and support.
Supported systems
Each product page lists the operating systems that product runs on. Kerf Audio develops for Linux first, with macOS to follow. We do not offer, sell or support Windows versions of our REAPER extensions or plugins, and do not plan to. Clip Tool runs inside Ableton Live and is supported on the systems Live runs on. Please check a product’s requirements before you buy or download it. Our refund policy still applies.
Your account
Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may close accounts used for fraud or abuse, and will tell you why.
Digital content and your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to cancel. For digital content supplied straight away, that right ends once the download starts, if you have asked for immediate supply and acknowledged that you lose the right. We ask for that consent at checkout. Our refund policy still applies.
Free products
Free products are provided as they are. Open-source products are covered by their own licence, such as MIT.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for loss of data or projects; keep backups.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
